My Personal Visual Link Spanish Review

Published by Pablo at 8:36 pm under Visual Link Spanish

Visual Link SpanishHi, my name is Paul (or Pablo if you’d like) and I wanted to write this review about an amazing program I discovered called Visual Link Spanish. I thought my views on the program may help some people who are looking for a great way to learn Spanish without spending a small fortune.

First, let me tell you a little about how I discovered this course. I bought the Visual Link Spanish program a while back after returning from a missions trip to Bogota, Colombia. I had taken some Spanish courses prior to my journey, but after nearly ten days in Colombia, I wanted to know more as I intend to go back.

I was drawn toward the Rossetta Stone course I read about in the in-flight magazine because I liked the idea of being able to learn via an interactive program that used both audio visual aids. But the only thing that turned me off about Rossetta Stone was its high price tag.

So, I beagn to search for alternatives that provided the same experience without the high cost. This is when I came across the Visual Link Spanish course. I went through the free Spanish lessons they had online and was immediately impressed. It was just what I was looking for. I also liked the fact that the guy who created the program was a college professor in Colorado and tested the program on some of his students. I think he still uses it in his classes, but I’m not sure.

Anyway, I eventually bought the course and I haven’t regretted it one bit. I’ve had it for about two years now and I absolutely love it! the strength of the program, I think, is in the interactive computer modules. They have the same setup as the free Spanish lessons they offer and you’re able to work through each phase at your own pace. I also found the audio CDs to be a great way to reinforce my previous lesson (the audio CDs coincide with the computer modules) while riding in my car.

Since using the Visual Link Spanish course, I’ve become conversational in Spanish. I’ve even tried my new skills on some of my Spanish-speaking friends and I’ve received many compliments on my pronunciation and accent! Well, that just made my day! I had proof from real Spanish-speaking people that the Visual Link Spanish program was indeed working for me.

By the way, I am a real person. I wrote this little review for people who might be in the same situation I once was - looking for the best value in a home Spanish course. Personally, I think Visual Link Spanish is the best, and after two years of using it I haven’t come across anything better.

I agree with you Pablo. I have just started the Visual Link course and am loving it. My daughter speaks Spanish fluently, having taken it at university, and has complimented me on how quickly I have been able to string a sentence together. Look forward to being as advanced as you are.

Thanks for the comment, Jeanette. I’m glad to hear you’re getting compliments from a fluent Spanish-speaker. I find myself spouting out full sentences in Spanish during conversations and I actually understand what I’m saying! It’s even better when someone else does, too! :-) I’m glad to hear you’re loving the course, Jeannette.
